Stelling al fresco

For første gang tok jeg hestene ut én og én for å stelle dem "alene". Passer kjempebra med den fine binde-bomen så nær paddocken. Så etter å ha prustet og pest litt med høy hale roet begge hestene seg når de sto igjen i paddock. Begge var helt kule med å bli tatt ut og "bundet fast" i bommen. Sioux syntes kanskje at det var litt kjedelig, men Santee nyter - som vanlig - hvert sekund hvor han er i fokus OG blir stelt med. Deilig å få trent litt, selv om det bare er på å stå på hver sin side av et gjerde...

For the first time I took the horses out one at a time in order to groom them "alone". It really is convenient with the post so near the paddock. After having snorted and pranced a little with tails high the horses calmed down when left. And both were totally calm when they were the one taken out and "tied" to the post. Sioux may have found it a tad boring, but Santee always enjoys being the centre of attention AND being groomed. Nice to do something a bit productive, even if it is just standing on separate sides of the fence...
