Klar for feriekoloni?

Nå er det bare dager til Santee reiser på beite. Og han skal tilbake til gården hvor han ble unnfanget; Stall Becky. Der har de supre beiter for unggutta, og jeg har førstehåndserfaring fra hvor bra de blir fulgt opp. Men litt sommerfugler i magen med tanke på hvordan han og mor takler adskillelsen. Og - ikke minst - om jeg får med meg Sioux tilbake eller blir nødt til å gjøre en bråflytting som da Biloxi skulle flytte fra Stall Becky og Sioux rett og slett "ble med på lasset"... Vel, nå er hun ikke drektig, og kan i verste fall dopes og dyttes ombord.
