Skogsloxi

Fineste Biloxien og jeg hadde det inn i granskauen fint på tur i dag. Han var lydig og grei, og veldig flink til å finne gresstuster på sin vei. Vi hørte torden rumle ganske nær, men regnet holdt seg unna, og vi koste oss begge to. De mer skarpsynte ser at han har "hvitt" understell, og det er sinksalve. Han har reagert kraftig på insektbitt i år, så jeg prøver å holde dem unna med seig salve. Krysser fingrene for at hevelsen snart gir seg.

Biloxi and I had a lovely little hike, he behaved impeccably and impressed me with his ability to find, and eat, grass on the hoof. A perfect start to the weekend.

The more eagle eyed will have noticed that his privates are white, that's from zinc ointment. He's had a strong reaction to insect bites so far this year, and I hope this will give him some relief and the insects some discouragement. Fingers crossed that the swelling will go down soon.
