Hei Weltano

Weltano er like gammel som Santee, og sto såvidt litt på beitet med ham og de andre i fjor sommer. Han har blitt stor og kjekk, og ganske tøff i trynet. Ikke at vi merket så mye til det, for da han eplekjekt gikk rett bort til Biloxi for å hilse rakk ikke engang Biloxi å snuse "hei" før han følltygget og sviktet i knærne i overraskende tydelig underkastelse. Første gang jeg har sett en hest nesten legge seg ned for en motpart som ikke er sint eller truende... Uansett, han har en kjip rolle som tredje hjul på vognen med brødreparet. Biloxi er så tydelig sjef at han ikke bryr seg så mye om å "sjefe", men Santee syntes nok det var litt stas å ikke være nederst på rangstigen og benyttet anledningen til å flytte på Weltano. Heldigvis flytter Weltano bare på seg til en viss grad, så kommer bakbena, sånn at Santee ikke får herse helt som han vil. Alt i alt var det en aktiv, men udramatisk start på ferien!

Weltano is the same age as Santee, and spent a little bit of time on pasture with him last summer. He's turned into quite the strapping colt, and is pretty uppity. Not that we noticed, first he strolled right up to Biloxi to say hi, only to start chewing and almost laying down flat before Biloxi even had time to sniff his muzzle. I've never seen a horse cow like this without the other part being threatening... 
Either way, he's bound to have a bit of a rough start, being the third wheel on the brother-wagon. Biloxi knows he's boss, and isn't bothered to be bossing anyone around when he could be eating. But Santee was thrilled to have someone below him in rank, and so had fun moving Weltano around. Fortunately, Weltano only moves so much before kicking, so that Santee doesn't get to bully him. All in all, an active, but non-dramatic start to the holiday!
