Santee ER mer hingstete enn han har vært tidligere, og jeg regner med at det blir enda heftigere til våren når hormonene virkelig våkner. Men selv om han, bokstavlig talt, bråker mer når han leker med Biloxi, og helt klart har lagt til seg hingsteuvanen med å slå med frambena er han fortsatt behagelig høflig mot oss tofotinger. Og når han og Biloxi hilser på damene i paddocken ved siden av banen er det absolutt ingen fakter å spore. Bare normal, høflig, hilsing.

Santee is starting to become more of a "lad", and I expect it'll be very noticeable come spring and all the extra helpings of hormones. But even if he, literally, makes more noise when playing with Biloxi, and uses his front legs stallion style when playing and playfighting, he's still nice and polite with people. And when Biloxi and he say hi to the ladies in the paddock next to them he behaves like a perfect gentleman.
