Herlige Sioux

Etter at junior hadde fått luftet seg var det Sioux sin tur. Jeg blir varm om hjertet av at hun så tydelig vil være med ut, og koser seg på våre små tusleturer. Hun går pent på plass, stort sett med tauet rundt halsen. Igår kom en barnefamilie forbi med en unge som hylte, skrek og bråkte noe helt vanvittig, da ble Sioux anspent, og jeg tar naturligvis tauet og "kontrollen". Men ellers tusler vi sammen, og hun får stoppe og snuse og titte om noe er spennende. Bortsett fra at hun prøvde å spise opp shettisen Dufina da vi møtte henne og Stine ute på tur oppførte Sioux seg helt eksemplarisk. Hun er sjelefred med flekker på!

After I'd been out with Biloxi I took Sioux out for a little walk. It's heartwarming to see how much she enjoys our little walks, and lovely that she behaves so well, walking beside me with the leadrope across her neck most of the time. At one point we met a family with an obnoxious kid making incredible amounts of noise (a temper tantrum at its worst), so I grabbed the rope and "took the lead". But other than that it's the two of us, together, and I let her stop and look or sniff if she sees something interesting. And apart from trying to eat the shetland Dufina when we met her and her owner, Sioux's behaviour couldn't be more exemplary. She's truly one of a kind, and I'm so happy she's mine!
