Vått og tørt

Høyhekkene er nå heeelt kule og brukes som de skal av små og store. Første dagen ble de ikke fyllt opp, sånn at Santee stakk hodet inn og dro ut grankvister og det som var. Ble noen skrammer på ham, men så lenge det er nok høy skjer det nok ikke igjen. Og den store fordelen med hekkene er jo at de kan fylles opp når det passer, uten fare for at høyet skal bli vått og gjørmete. Og om de ikke spiser opp, ja da ligger det der til dagen etter...

The hutches are no longer scary, and the foals and mares happily use them. They forgot to refill on the first day, so Santee ended up sticking his head in to grab some of the branches in there. So there were a few minor cuts, but as long as there's hay I'm sure it won't happen again. And the advantage of the hutches are that they can be refilled at any time, without the hay becoming wet and muddy. And if they don't eat it all, it'll be there the next day...
