Tandem-trening

Etter å ha tuslet litt rundt med Sioux og kjent på at hun er nesten like responsiv og grei som sist (flinkefantastiskevidunderlige!) fant jeg ut at det var like greit å trene litt med minstemann også. Tredde enden på grimetaue gjennom grimen, og hadde ham som håndhest. Og jeg kan ikke annet enn å skryte av hvor flinke begge flekkene var. Det gikk nemmelig så greit som bare det. Vi byttet hånd, stoppet, rygget, svingte rundt hinderne som sto i hallen og alt gikk så greit som bare det. Hoppet av og lot Sioux gjøre sitt, mens jeg jobbet litt videre med Santee. Han synes at det meste jeg foreslår er ganske gøy, og gjør sitt beste. Samme ulla som storebror dette altså!

After having walked around for a while, appreciating that Sioux is almost as responsive as she was last time I rode her (wonderfulamazingfabulous) I decided I might as well include Santee. So I put the lead rope through his halter, and introduced him to a new aspect of leading. And I cannot help but brag, because they both did so well. We could change directions, stop, back up, turn and walk in a figure eight around the fences that were stood there. It went ever so smoothly. Dismounted, and let Sioux do her own thing, while I worked with Santee a little longer. He thinks most things are fun, and does his best. Definitely cut from the same cloth as his big brother!
