Da er dagen kommet! Det er nøyaktig 1 måned siden Biloxi ble innskrevet på NVH med "prognose: dårlig", drøyt 2 uker siden han ble utskrevet med "prognose: avventende". Anne-Lise, Jannicke og Patrick har gitt ham medisiner - morgen, middag og kveld. Han har, etter forholdene, vokst og utviklet seg normalt. Han har vært feberfri, er litt dedd i desa, men virker ellers pigg og glad. Alt i alt har jeg all grunn til å tro at han må ha blitt friskere på innsiden, for å virke så normal og sunn på utsiden! Fram til hestene var lastet og avgårde (det tok 2 min kanskje) så var jeg fokusert på det, men i bilen opp fra Meridian kom nervene for alvor!One month ago today, Biloxi was admitted to the Norwegian Teaching Hospital for Veterinarians with "prognosis: bad", just over two weeks ago he was allowed to come home with "prognosis: tentative". The staff at Meridian have given him medication - morning, day and night. He has, considering the circumstances, grown and developed at a normal pace. He's not had a fever, and except for sounding slightly stuffy nosed, has seemed healthy and happy. All in all, I have every reason to think that his lungs must have improved for him to seem so fit and healthy on the outside. Until the horses were loaded (which took all of 2 minutes) and on their way, my focus was on that. But on the trip up to Oslo my nerves really kicked in!
