Avledningsmanøver

Om hestene løp og stresset? Nix. Mulene forsvant ned i gresset, og foruten at Biloxi rullet seg, så beveget de seg knapt på de 10 minuttene det tok før "actiongolferne" forsvant. Siden de var så rolige fikk jeg knipset noen koselige bilder. Og selvom jeg er realistisk optimist og absolutt regner med at morgendagens røntgen og undersøkelser vil vise at Biloxi er på bedringens vei, så var det ikke fritt for at jeg hadde litt klump i halsen med tanke på at dette kanskje blir bilder jeg vil se på med helt andre øyne om en stund...

Letting the horses into the paddocks worked a treat. They were so distracted by the grass that the golfers could have landed a helicopter for what they cared. Except for Biloxi rolling in the grass, there was no action whatsoever on the horses part. As it took a few minutes before we could head past the golf course and back to the stables I took some photos in the sun. And not without a lump in my throat. Though I'm an optimistic realist and expect tomorrows xrays and examination to show that Biloxi is on the mend, I can't help but think that these are photos that I might perhaps view very differently in a while...
