Kjapp oppdatering onsdag

Vi regnet med litt action hos åringene når de ble sluppet ut idag, for ikke å snakke om hos Sioux når hun skulle inn i hoppeflokken igjen for første gang siden sommeren. Og det er i tillegg to nye hopper der. Derfor lot jeg minstekanonen bli igjen hos Eva på Meridian i håp om at hun fikk fotografert eller filmet eventuell action. Når telefonen så ringer er jeg spent på rapporten. Eva sier lett fleipende at det jammen var godt jeg lot kameraet være igjen så hun fikk dokumentert at Biloxi og de andre snuste litt på hverandre før de gikk løs på frokosthøyet. Hos Sioux hadde det vært langt mer dramatikk; der hadde det vært litt piping i tillegg til snusingen før de gikk løs på frokosthøyet... Vel vel, bedre med for lite enn for mye drama!

We expected some more action with the yearlings when they were let out this morning, not to mention Sioux who is back in the herd of mares for the first time since the summer. And with two new horses too. So I left my litlest Canon with Eva in case she managed to capture some action. When she called this morning I was both relieved and disappointed to hear that there was absolutely no action with the yearlings. They sniffed hello and dug into their breakfast hay. There was a little more "drama" with Sioux. Apparantly they squealed a few times while saying good morning, before getting on with breakfast. Ah, well, rather too little than too much drama!
