Jeg orker nesten ikke skrive mer enn at idag mistet vi nesten både Sioux og føllet. Veterinær Jochen kansellerte alle andre avtaler og sto på 100%. Stutterisjef Eva likeså. Sioux er en fighter uten like! Det kjennes helt absurd når livet rundt - på stutteriet og ellers - går helt som vanlig mens det står om liv og død i vår lille boks.
I can hardly write about this terrible day. We almost lost Sioux and the foal. The veterinarian cancelled all appointments and stayed with us. Stud manager Eva was a rock, and Sioux fought the battle of a lifetime. But it feels completely absurd that life - on the stud and elsewhere - goes on just like normal while Sioux was fighting for her, and Sutah II's, lives.
