Sioux fyller femten år idag, så etter at jeg hadde servert frokost til alle hestene plukket jeg med meg en "bukett" løvetann for å friste fruen. Og de gikk ned på høykant. Hun er urolig om natten nå, og blør litt neseblod innimellom. Generelt er formen "akseptabel", og vi avventer fortsatt med å gjøre endringer med medisinering eller rutiner. Både for Sioux og føllets beste.

Sioux is fifteen today, so after I'd fed breakfast to all the horses in the yard she got a special treat. I picked a "bouquet" of dandelions to tempt her. And she ate them all. She's restless at night, and has a bit of nosebleed. She's in "acceptable" shape, and we're still not making any changes in her medication or routines. In the best interest of her and the foal both.
