Tålmodig og lydig

Sioux og jeg ble med navnesøster Elisabeth og Pilgrim på tur, og etterpå fikk Sioux av seg utstyret og jeg hentet kameraet for å ha en liten fotosession med turkameratene våre. Etter å ha tuslet rundt litt parkerte jeg Sioux ved et tre så hun ikke skulle komme iveien, og Elisabeth var rimelig imponert over at hun ble stående der i de 10-15 minuttene det hele tok. Flinkepånnis er veldig lett å lese, og når hun er så avslappet og fornøyd kan hun parkeres nesten hvorsomhelst og hvor lenge som helst. Veldig praktisk.

Sioux and I went for a hack with my namesake Elisabeth and Pilgrim, and when we returned to the yard I took Sioux's tack off and fetched my camera for a short photosession with our buddys. After walking around a little I "parked" Sioux by a tree so she wouldn't get in the way, and Elisabeth was pretty impressed by how she just stood there the entire time. She's a well behaved horse, and so easy to read that I can tell when she's in the mood to be this super-cooperative.
