Det er bare gladrapporter å få fra Angarn. Ikke bare har de helt herlig høstvær sånn at hestene fortsatt kan kose seg ute, uten regnfrakk og med gress å spise på, hele dagene. Veslebrunen gjør i tillegg nytte for seg som annet enn plenpryd og kosehest. Nå er han onkel for en gjeng åringer som er på gården for å rides inn over vinteren. Åringene, 3 vallaker og 2 hingster, gikk sammen i en flokk hvor én ble bølle og én ble hakkekylling. Ofte setter man inn en voksen vallak for å ordne opp, men Eva fikk det for seg å prøve med Biloxi. Og han gjorde en kjempejobb. Ikke bare satt han bøllen på plass og tok seg av hakkekyllingen sånn at hele flokken er mer harmonisk og stabil, men han er så leken og inkluderende at hele gjengen er mer aktiv enn før. Igjen viser han at han er rangsterk og streng, men rettferdig og glad. Flinke lille "arbeidshesten"!
The reports from Angarn make me smile. Not only is the weather absolutely lovely so that the horses spend all day, unrugged, on grass. But Biloxi is making himself useful as well. He's become "uncle" to the five yearling colts at the yard. They were turned out together, but unfortunately one turned into a bully and one to a bit of an outsider. The solution is often to turn out an adult gelding with the herd, but Eva decided to give Biloxi the job. And he did a great one. After telling everyone he was boss, with some squealing and leg action, but no kicking or biting, he put the bully in his place and took the outsider under his wing. In no time they turned into a herd of friends, with Biloxi keeping things in order, yet initiating play. Again proving he's high in rang, strict, but fair and fun.
