Med og uten vinterfrakk i minus 15

Det er stabilt på tosifret antall minusgrader, men det ser ut til at Santee klarer seg finfint uten dekken så lenge det er tørt og kaldt, mens kortpelsede Biloxi koser seg i sin Rambo Supreme som han arvet av sin mor i fjor. Inntaket av både grovfôr og vann har økt betraktelig, og min eneste frustrasjon er at Biloxi ikke lar lokkene til høyhekken i fred.

It looks as if Santee is doing fine without any rugs as long as it's cold and dry, even at 15 below Celcius, while Biloxis short coat makes him happy to have inherited the Rambo Supreme from his mum last winter. They eat more forage and have also upped their water intake, and my only frustration is that Biloxi won't leave the hay hutch lids alone.
