(A New) Leader Of The Pack

Waiting for snow seems as futile as whistling for peace in the Middle East, so we didn't want to wait with introducing Biloxi into the herd of yearlings any longer. The others got to run off excess energy in the indoor school first thing in the morning, and Biloxi was out with Sioux like normal. But after lunch we fetched Sioux and Biloxi. Sioux was put in her box (where she stressed a little, but not a lot) and Biloxi was let out with the others.
We expected action, so I'd persuaded Iselin to help me film while I took photos. Also Eva, Jannicke and Elisabeth were on hand in case there was trouble. But it went extremely smoothly. Biloxi is quite obviously high in rank, and the others showed submissive behaviour like licking and chewing when saying hi to him. There was some running, squealing, biting and waving of legs, though nothing that escalated past normal playfulness. Not as entertaining as expected, but a wonderful sight nonetheless!
