Got snow?

Man kan trygt si at kombinasjonen snø og vind var forholdsvis potent idag. Og det var ikke stort enklere å være hest enn menneske, med snøfonner som til tider virket nesten skummelt høye. Biloxi og Margo fikk delegert hver sin hingstepaddock, og syntes visstnok at pløyejobben var ganske stas til å begynne med. Men etter en stund var de enda mer fornøyd med at høyet lå under takutspringet med litt ly for været.

It's safe to say that the snow and wind combined to a potent force today. And it wasn't much easier for the horses than for us humans, with the snow swept up into piles that seemed insurmountable. Biloxi and Margo were placed in the stallion paddocks, and seemed quite happy with plowing through the snow for a while. But then they seemed even more happy to realise that the hay was under an outcrop of the roof, shielded from the worst of the weather.
