Avstiftet

Veterinæren var her på formiddagen og stalleier Wibecke fikk mosjonert seg grundig når hun mønstret både Stor Flekk og Liten Brun. Begge er litt småhalte og har derfor fri og paddockarrest ut mai, men Biloxi var *veldig* mye bedre og Sioux har tross alt all grunn til å være litt støl. Såret har grodd fint, uten tegn til betennelse, så i dag fjernet Jochen stiftene. Sioux oppførte seg fint, så da ble det ikke nødvendig å dope eller "slåss" med henne. Fru Mor var innom på ettermiddagen og belønnet dem med gress og kos.

The vet was here this morning and yard owner Wibecke got some exercise helping him with both horses. They're both still not 100%, and so have the rest of the month off. But Biloxi is heaps better, and Sioux has every reason to be a bit stiff and sore. The wound healed nicely, with no trace of infection, so Jochen removed the staples. Sioux behaved impeccably, so there was no fighting or doping necessary. Mum visited in the afternoon and rewarded them both with grass and lots of attention.
