(Noe jeg var).I had time and a good book, so I went down to the field and lay down to read. And the horses found me very scary, using a long time to work up the nerve to study me closely. When Sioux was finally convinced it was me, she couldn't care less and went back to eating. Biloxi however, stuck to me like glue. Grazing so close that at one point he stepped over me and stood eating with his front legs one side of me and his hindlegs on the other. All well, until he was walking on and seemed to have forgotten all about me. But when his hoof touched my leg, he started and jumped up in the air as if I was electrified. I was fine, and he was funny, turning around, sniffing and poking me as if to make sure I was OK.
