Vanningsdag

Vi prøver å ikke klage over trist helgevær, men heller tenke på at gresset har godt av litt vann nå. Sioux og Biloxi er alltid glade når de får gresse litt, men kanskje er det ekstra godt med litt regnvann på? Håndkletørket dem begge og så fikk de begge en skikkelig omgang med kos og stell. Sioux sitt ben ser kjempefint ut i dag, knapt hevelse rundt selve såret. Og hun var blid og fornøyd med oppmerksomhet. Biloxi har nå, for andre gangen denne uken, funnet en veldig behagelig ro mens jeg har pusset og stelt. Jeg nyter det i fulle drag, og tør såvidt å fantasere om at det er sånn han blir når han blir stor. Blid og kontaktsøkende, men ikke så hyperintens som han for det meste er.

We focus on how useful the rain is for the grass, and try not to complain of the weather. Sioux and Biloxi are always happy when they get to graze a little, and perhaps it's extra tasty with rainwater on? I towel dried them both before doing thorough grooming sessions. Sioux's leg looks great, hardly any swelling even around the wound itself. She was happy and sociable, and Biloxi surprised me for the second time this week by calming down a lot while I groom him. I hope this is how he'll be when he grows up; happy and sociable, but not as intense as he normally is.
